This incredibly beautiful film highlights the natural and cultural heritage of the Flow Country in the far north of Scotland, showcasing the importance of this area for people and wildlife, its crucial role in the fight against climate change and the work being done to restore and protect it. Covering approximately 400,000 hectares, the Flow Country is the largest and most important expanse of this type of blanket bog in the world and is home to a variety of rare and wonderful wildlife, storing an estimated 400 million tonnes of carbon beneath its surface.
