You have all seen thermal cameras being used on the BBC’s Winterwatch, Springwatch and Autumnwatch programmes.  Now you have the chance to have a similar experience for yourself.  Keith Kirk’s talk will give you an insight into a Nocturnal Wildlife Tour.  He will share with you some of his amazing wildlife experiences and discoveries NWT have made in the darkness of Dumfries and Galloway.
Keith Kirk is the tour leader/ranger with Nocturnal Wildlife Tours, a tour company based in Castle Douglas that specialises in taking out small groups of people to view wildlife at night, in total darkness, using state of the art thermal and night vision equipment. The Tours are a combination of being out on foot, and from a specialised Land Rover, which is fitted with a roof mounted thermal camera relaying footage to internal viewing screens.
